Ernie graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in International Politics and became the manager of a successful retail business for four years.
He started in the life insurance and investment business at New York Life in 1982 and after two years decided to become an independent consultant in order to offer more fair and objective advice.
In 1993, after developing strong relationships and trust working with Henry Schmidt of Schmidt Insurance and his clients, he added Evergreen Investments in the McIvor Mall to his practice. As part of the team at Investment Planning Counsel Ernie looks forward to helping friends and clients realize their financial goals.
